Brian King joined Mariana Oncology in February 2024 and serves as the head of finance, responsible for strategic, financial planning, accounting, and finance operations. Brian has nearly 20 years of public accounting and industry experience, including 10 years of biotechnology experience with companies ranging from private, pre-clinical stage to global, public, commercial stage.

Prior to joining Mariana Oncology, Brian served as the controller at Xilio Therapeutics where he aided the company in executing a successful IPO. Prior to Xilio, Brian held various roles of increasing responsibility at TESARO Bio until its acquisition by GSK, including building out and managing the international accounting team. Brian started his career at Ernst & Young before transitioning into industry, gaining several years of experience across various industries and finance and accounting functions.

Brian holds a BS and MS in accounting from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and he is an active CPA.
