Linda serves as chief operating officer and chief financial officer for Mariana Oncology. She most recently served as chief financial officer of Codiak BioSciences. She brings extensive experience in operations, finance, capital markets, business development and transactions, strategy, investor relations, corporate communications, and program management.

Prior to Codiak BioSciences, Linda was CFO of Avalanche Biotechnologies, where she led a successful IPO and follow-on financing. Linda has raised nearly $1B in capital through venture, crossover rounds, IPOs, and public equity financings over the past 10-plus years. She served as vice president of finance, business operations, and treasurer at bluebird bio, where she also led a successful IPO. Prior to bluebird bio, Linda held senior roles at Genzyme Corporation, and was vice president of finance, global manufacturing and operations, and vice president of finance, Genzyme Genetics. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at Fidelity Investments, AstraZeneca, and Deloitte & Touche.

Linda holds a BS in accounting and business administration from the University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa, and an honors degree in accounting and business administration.

She is currently on the board of directors of Arvinas, Autolus Therapeutics, and Hemab Therapeutics, and serves as board advisor to Remix Therapeutics.
