Travis Tirrell is head of legal and business operations at Mariana Oncology, a Novartis Company. He brings to Mariana Oncology more than 15 years of experience in the life science industry. Prior to joining Mariana Oncology, he served as director, R&D legal for Beam Therapeutics, where he built and led the R&D legal and contracts team. Prior to joining Beam, he served as contracts attorney at Sage Therapeutics, supporting the commercial team on a pending launch. Prior to joining Sage, Mr Tirrell was associate director of legal for Forma Therapeutics, where he helped build the legal team and supported multiple clinical programs in all phases of development. Prior to Forma, Mr Tirrell spent 10 years at Millennium/Takeda, where he worked in various quality, operations, and regulatory roles with increasing degrees of responsibility.

Mr Tirrell holds a BA in criminal justice from Florida Atlantic University, an MS in regulatory affairs from Northeastern University, and a JD from Suffolk University Law School.
